Seapoint Harlyn Bay

My stay at Seapoint in Harlyn Bay, North Cornwall, was a remarkably delightful experience, particularly as I was there to take some product shots. One of the standout features of Seapoint is the gate in the garden, which, after entering a private code, opens directly onto the South West Coastal Path. This path meanders through some of the most stunning Cornish scenery, a reminder of the journey depicted in ‘The Salt Path,’ set for release later this month. The book touches on the profound impact of walking through adverse circumstances, a sentiment I could truly appreciate as I strolled along the rugged cliffs and breathtaking views.

The location of Seapoint is unbeatable; it lies on one of the most beautiful bays in North Cornwall, complete with pristine white sand. The charm of Seapoint is palpable, echoing with the memories that have been woven into the home across the years. Each window in the property offers a captivating view of the sea, and there’s something magical about falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing gently on the shore.

For those who enjoy local conveniences, the Beach Box at the end of the bay serves delicious pizzas among various other offerings. Additionally, the picturesque harbour town of Padstow is just around the corner, making it easy to explore further. During my visit, the weather was splendid, yet I can easily envision the cozy warmth of Seapoint during the autumn and winter months especially with the log burner.

Seapoint, nestled on its own private land, is suitable for all ages, making it a perfect destination for families and groups alike. I found my morning runs along the coastal path to be unparalleled, a true highlight of my stay, and I can confidently say that I will be returning to this exceptional location in the future.
